 We couldn’t get the beauty of the Ice Field Parkway out of our mind.
That’s why we wanted to go back and got drown again by that beauty.
This time our trip started in the state Washington. Our first visit
was to the “Olympic Game Farm”; home to many animal species, both
endangered and non-endangered and many of the animals have appeared
in movies and on TV. After this fun visit we’ve seen Olympic
National Park, Mount St. Helen and Mount Rainier.
Once in Canada we’ve visited the old acquaintances: Waterton,
Glacier, Banff, Lake Louise, Ice Field Parkway and Jasper. Fantastic!
What we really, really enjoyed was the boat trip on Lake Louise,
with a canoe. We started with beautiful weather, which was so much
fun. But after 45 min. a heavy snow shower and strong gusts of wind
made is so difficult to get back to the levee. But that couldn’t
spoil the fun we had. It was just fantastic and so beautiful.
Back in the US we’ve visited Craters of the Moon, Ketchum, Sun
Valley and Twin Falls in Idaho and North Cascades, Winthrop and
Seattle in Washington.
At the end of this trip we stayed for a couple of days in Vancouver
Canada.
