 After a difficult period it was time for an easy vacation with lots
of sun and lots of relaxing and enjoying.
That’s why we decided to go to Florida, the
"Sunshine State".
On our trip starting and ending in Orlando we’ve visited places like
St Petersburg, Fort Myers, Sanibel & Captiva, Naples, the Everglades,
The Keys, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Cocoa Beach, ….. We’ve
also visited Sea world, Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
The most exciting thing was driving the highway from Key Largo to
Key West and back. That’s so much fun, that’s freedom, that’s
vacation, that’s ……
The most spectacular thing was the launch of the Space Shuttle. We
couldn’t get to Cape Canaveral itself, but we had a great view from
a shoulder of a highway nearby Cape Canaveral.
At 4 AM we were there all alone and an hour later, shortly for the
launch, the shoulder was crowded and cars stood still on the highway.
