 With a flight stopping in Washington DC, we decided to stay in that
area for one more week.
During that week we’ve visited:
- Washington DC with the Mall, the White House, statue of Iwo Jima,
Arlington Cemetery, ….
- Baltimore
- Atlantic City and the famous boardwalk
- Philadelphia with the many national historical sites that relate
to the founding of the United States (Independence Hall, Liberty
Bell, house of Betsy Ross, ….)
- we also visited an Amish house and drove a while through Amish
country
- last but not least we visited Gettysburg for the historical fact
of the Civil War and for the fun fact that there’s Boyds Bear
Country, Worlds Most Humongous Teddy Bear Store
